About Us
The Cortlandt Community Volunteer Ambulance Corps, named best ‘EMS Agency of the Year’ by the Westchester County Regional EMS Council, provides emergency, pre-hospital patient care 24 hours a day, seven days a week to Cortlandt Ambulance District 1 and mutual aid assistance to neighboring districts, as well as standby ambulance service at community events, and through its community outreach program, prepares the community for emergency health situations through ‘free’ CPR and first aid training, its File of Life and ICE initiatives and its Defibrillator Lend, Fall Prevention, Compression Champs and ‘Keeping the Beat’ (providing AEDs to community facilities) programs.
